Free Fire x Money Heist
A 10-minute scripted sketch for Free Fire enthusiasts replicating in-game environments, characters and situations based on Netflix's popular show Money Heist. Released with the objective of promoting a version of the game featuring elements from the Money Heist universe.
The idea
Free Fire India and the Big Dumb Project came to us with a script - and tight deadlines! - that was super fun and engaging. Our job was to recreate the in-game environment, get the right cast and crew on-board, and bring alive the story!
The crew
Being the self-professed 5-minute-format experts that we are (:P), we onboarded the best crew for this - right from the production design to HMU and styling - a lot of thinking (and efforts) went into putting it all together.
Brand
The script was super fun, and involved a bunch of in-game elements. Even small details such as the gun skins, the broken house, the mannequins, and the grenades & other ammo were replicated exactly as you would see them in the game.
Production
Our post team magnified manifold what had already been shot to perfection. The dual-tone lighting was brought alive through DI, and the VFX enhanced the script's surreal nature. The result - a film that trended for 3 days at #11 on YT India!
